3 of 3 pictures for a class presentation (that I need to have all done before Wed. lolwtfdeadlines). Its my final project for two classes, a small report and visual examples involving (as specified) my own work be it drawn or use my own photography. This is the Ciftetelli (Turkish, Romani, Greek) example I drew, and the model is my dancer, Seleeda. Its so funny how fitting the outfit is on her considering she's Indian and not Turkish. I had fun designing this one, probably the most fun. And I used my favorite colors (which I pulled from my lj layout X3) which just really gave it a nice feel all together. Hooray for wood texture! 8D Anyway, enjoy because now I can die in peace with this thing done. *fall*
Thank you~
This was actually one of the harder ones to pull off out of the three. XD I've never done Turkish before, so it was like, "Omg, what do I do with her arms?!" Had to watch a few gypsy dancing videos on Youtube before I got a general idea of what I wanted.
If I could dye and sew, oh man, I'd be wearing this. DX CURSES!!!
I could care less about sewing, thats my mom's deal. <3
THough seeing you in that dress WOULD be very very pretty indeed! ^_^
And yay for youtube, how it is helpful in times of need.
I like your fluid poses. <3
I LOVE her dress. You did well for the colors, so flowy and frilly yet not to bright.
