"The sunset had begun to set across the savannah, the great herds having slowed their grazing to prepare for the dark of night. Amid the tall grasses roamed two creatures not of this land, nor this world. He'd bought her to the Pridelands in hopes of showing her yet another world where even the animals themselves had hearts, something they both longed to restore to themselves. For all of her bumbling and clumsiness in the introduction to this four-legged form, she'd managed to find her feet as the day had gone on.

And now here beneath the setting sun, he was the one that felt as though he were tripping over his own heavy paws; ragged and scraggily form plodding silently alongside her. She was the picture of feline grace even if this form wasn't her true one, and no matter the form in this world or any other, she was nothing but perfect to him. This shy courtship he'd been playing, his looks and acts of affection had all been met with a cautious and almost skeptical air, but over time she'd begun to accept his charming little displays. And much to his joy, she even returned them with her own, but despite all of their shy exchanges he felt that today he should finally speak up.

"..Xy-"

His voice was small, nearly too soft to be heard but in that moment of hesitation his expression softened upon hearing the one next to him. Her tone was soft, lilting.. airy and simply beautiful. She lightly sang a wordless tune, making a slight pause to rub against the lion's thick shoulder with a smile. It was then that he knew just what to tell her."

Xylia and Abnixtos in the Pridelands!
Felt like doing a fake screenshot and these two seemed to be the perfect candidates for the job. I guess this takes place during the beginning of their budding romance and Ab is still a big ball of awkward shy courtshipness. ItssocuteajfklsfjsgodIlovehim~ It takes a whole heck of a lot for Xylia to warm up to anybody, so its kind of a miracle that he's gotten this far without being destroyed violently. The song she's actually singing is this one here - [link] its what originally gave me the idea for the whole scene. |D Sappy sap sap sap... durrrrr~

I feel like I should do more of these fake screenies, they're a lot of fun and help me brush up on TLK style~
